The Digital Assurance Academy offers you the opportunity to get to know clients from various perspectives. During your work, you are assessing the (IT) processes and you have intensive contact with the client.

Then this program is ideal for you!

The Digital Assurance Academy is a unique and intensive two-year training program focusing on innovation and digital transformation in our profession. You will start directly in the Assurance practice and will gain experience in creating trust in this new digital world. Within the Digital Assurance Academy you help clients deliver trust in various areas, including digital transformations, (digital) financial information and automated internal control systems. You also advise and support clients with innovative services, products and tools in proactively monitoring and managing risks in an increasingly complex society. You guide a wide variety of clients in achieving efficient, effective and controlled business processes and help them solve issues in the field of big data, cloud computing, cyber security, data privacy, artificial intelligence, data science and innovative IT management.

What does your work look like?

The Digital Assurance Academy offers you the opportunity to get to know clients from various perspectives. During your work, you are assessing the (IT) processes and you have intensive contact with the client. This can be in various market sectors, such as the financial sector, public/private sector or the commercial sector.
In addition to the intensive introduction period that we will provide, we offer an extensive training program for 2 years in which you gain both technical and personal skills. Furthermore, during the recurring return days we provide workshops aimed at coaching, personal development and peer review and we give master classes in the field of relevant digital themes. We pay attention to topics such as cyber security, data privacy, data analytics, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, innovative IT audits and blockchain. Gaining a more in-depth experience in one of these areas is also an option.

PwC's purpose is to build trust in our society and to solve important problems. In the Digital Academy you will learn how to make improvements in business processes, information systems and risk management of your clients. You will also get to know the aspects of the accountancy profession and actively participate in the audit of annual accounts by assessing business processes and testing the internal control and systems of your clients. Your help always contributes to the social relevance of, and the confidence in our clients. You are versatile and will work together with different teams within PwC. You make an important contribution to challenging projects and assignments. Your clients vary from local players to large multinationals in various market sectors. You will interview your clients, collect information, assess the reliability of internal (automated) processes and advise on risk management. You will also implement solutions at clients to better manage digital processes. You regularly work with the client and learn from experienced PwC colleagues with whom you work. In short: a challenging and stimulating environment!

Who are you?

We are looking for new colleagues who would like to make a positive contribution to societal and other relevant themes in the digital world. You are innovative and want to keep pace with the latest advances in digital technology. Furthermore, you are an ambitious team player who is keen to deliver quality work related to audit and advisory in a Digital Assurance environment. Moreover:

  • You have (almost) completed a Master program in Information Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Econometrics or related courses;
  • You are keen to continue your professional development. You want to grow, make an impact and get the best out of yourself and your colleagues;
  • You have the intention to pursue an RE certification;
  • You have a good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and in writing.
