As Associate in our Portfolio- and Project management team in PwC Advisory you will be continuously challenged to support our clients in the fast changing and digital environment and to prepare them for today and for tomorrow. We do this by driving and enabling our clients to bring their strategy into execution. We build capabilities to define & prioritize the right projects and interventions for their strategy and deliver these transformations. We also provide guidance when clients need help in stabilizing critical programs or support clients to re-initiate them to create speed for sustainable delivery.

The Project & Program Management (PPM)  team focuses on the commercial and industrial sector. We are a diverse, international and ambitious team that is passionate about delivering sustained outcomes and trust to our clients. You will be exposed to different industries, client challenges and there will be extensive attention to your personal and professional growth. You will get a coach that will support you in your development and will start in a Consulting traineeship with colleagues from other competence teams to follow a distinct learning & development curriculum. What does your work look like?

As an Associate in the PPM CIPS team, you will:  

  • Gain experience on a wide variety of projects that make a difference for our clients;

  • Be part of a larger PwC project team and deliver cross-competency client engagements by using a broad range of hard and soft skills to deliver value in a highly collaborative, agile and accelerated manner;

  • Work as of day 1 on transformations varying from ‘tech-enabled’ (ERP implementation such as SAP, Salesforce & Oracle, to more ‘business-enabled’ (such as design & implementation of a new operating model, cost reductions, improvement programs) or more specific PPM challenges (such as design & implementation of strategic portfolio mgt);

  • Play an active role in het PPM CIPS team with team meetings, recruitment, learning & development, team and proposition development;

  • Support senior management in the pursuit of new business opportunities by sharing your knowledge and expertise.

Who are you?

You are a starting professional who recently graduated from the University and is looking for a job to kick-start his or her career: 

  • You recently graduated and have a Masters-degree in a field such as Business Administration, Economics, Management & Organisation, also other master studies are welcome in our team as long as you have a passion to kick-start your career in Consulting; 

  • You have good academic results and/or relevant extracurricular activities on your resume;

  •  You are proactive, analytically and eager to learn. Furthermore, you should be curious by nature, be interested in developments in the program- and project management field and have a critical attitude;

  • You are a strong team player, with a healthy drive & strong communication skills;

  • You like to analyze new issues and find solutions in a practical and creative way;

  • You take ownership, work structured autonomously and show interpersonal skills to work with a variety of stakeholders;

  • You pay attention to the big picture and have an eye for detail;

  • You have the ambition to do projects in The Netherlands and abroad and you are able to work in Dutch and in English.
